Technology that helps learners and educators.
We have worked with education publishers and tutoring organisations for over a decade, building the platforms that millions of learners rely on every day. Our clients include Hachette Learning (formerly Hodder Education). We partnered with them to deliver Boost Insights, a cloud-native assessment platform. It serves over 4,000 schools and 845,000 pupils.
We also work with Explore Learning. We built an adaptive assessment engine, a custom video tutoring platform, and an assessment authoring system. Together, these won a UK Business Tech Transformation Award.
We understand the specific demands of the sector.
- Platforms must scale reliably during exam seasons.
- Integrations with Learnosity, school management information systems (MIS), and publisher data pipelines add real complexity.
- Pupil data must be handled with the highest levels of security and care. That requirement is non-negotiable.
We work with education publishers who want to modernise legacy assessment products. We work with tutoring networks that need to scale online delivery. We work with EdTech startups building their first platform. In every case, we bring senior engineering expertise, Azure cloud architecture, and sector-specific knowledge from day one.

The hard problems in education technology.
These are the challenges we hear from education publishers and tutoring organisations repeatedly. If any of them sound familiar, we would like to talk.
Scaling under peak demand
Exam seasons and synchronised tutoring sessions create sharp spikes. Platforms that perform under normal load can buckle when thousands of pupils are assessed simultaneously.
Legacy platform debt
Many education organisations run on systems built before cloud-native architectures existed. Migrating away without disrupting thousands of active users is a significant technical and operational challenge.
Pupil data security
Handling data for children under 18 requires strict compliance with GDPR, Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), and any school-specific data agreements. Security cannot be an afterthought.
Platform interoperability
Schools use dozens of tools. Connecting your platform with MIS, third-party assessment engines like Learnosity, and single sign-on providers is technically complex. The same work is organisationally sensitive.
Accessibility for all learners
Digital learning tools must work for every learner. That includes pupils with dyslexia, visual impairment, motor difficulties, and other needs. Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) compliance is a legal and ethical requirement, not a nice-to-have.
Integrating AI without disrupting trust
AI offers enormous potential in adaptive learning and automated assessment marking. Parents, teachers, and regulators rightly scrutinise how AI is used with children. That scrutiny calls for a transparent, responsible approach.
What we build for education.
Assessment platform development
We build and modernise assessment platforms using Learnosity and custom architectures on Azure. From authoring tools to adaptive marking engines, we cover the full stack.
Learning management systems
New LMS builds, legacy LMS migrations, and feature extensions for existing platforms. We design for the teachers and administrators who use them every day.
AI-powered adaptive learning
Custom AI integrations that surface insights, recommend content paths, and automate marking, built responsibly with transparency and auditability in mind.
Video and content delivery
High-performance video platforms for synchronous tutoring, lecture recording, and content streaming. We have delivered platforms supporting thousands of concurrent sessions.
Data and analytics
Real-time dashboards and reporting tools that help teachers, tutors, and curriculum leads make evidence-based decisions on pupil progress and attainment.
Managed application support
Ongoing support with SLAs tailored to the education calendar. We monitor, patch, and continuously improve your platform so your team can focus on teaching.
