Your custom platform. Fully yours.
A custom platform built from any combination of our proven modules: booking, billing, membership, franchising, assessment, and learning. Take what your operation needs, leave what it does not, and get one connected system rather than a fixed product. No per-user fees. No lock-in. You own the code.
Perpetual source code licence. Your cost stays flat as you grow.
AI-augmented engineering on proven foundations.
Configuration, branding, and migration, not a build from scratch.
Six modules. One connected system.
Build your platform from any combination of the modules. Each has its own API surface and works independently, but they share a common data layer and platform foundations so nothing falls through the cracks. Every module is optional: take what you need now and add others later.
Booking Engine
Real-time scheduling, capacity management, intelligent waitlists, and credit-based bookings. API-first policy enforcement means every channel (web, app, kiosk) enforces the same rules.
Billing Engine
Recurring Direct Debit, refunds, write-offs, and a live finance dashboard with full auditability. Multi-site DD schemes, bank holiday awareness, and single-transaction consistency.
Membership
Full lifecycle management with flexible packages, multi-site pricing bands, scheduled price changes, credit-based rewards, and atomic operations that never leave data in an inconsistent state.
Franchising
The franchise layer for franchise networks. Adds franchisor/franchisee/site hierarchy, multi-level permissions, MSF calculation, network dashboards, and compliance tracking on top of the core platform.
Assessment
A Learnosity-powered assessment platform under your brand. Custom question templates, deep integration with students and cohorts, publishing workflows, and audit trails throughout.
Learning
A cloud-native learning foundation built on the xAPI and cmi5 standards. Modular content delivery, adaptive pathways, and detailed learning analytics with full interoperability.
Your business language, built into the database
The data model is not generic tables renamed. It is purpose-designed around the language and structure of your operation, whether that is members and sessions or students and cohorts, so every entity, relationship, and constraint matches how your business actually works.
Domain-first schema
Members, Packages, Pricing Bands, Sessions, Payment Runs, Finance Items. Every entity is named after the operator's world, not generic objects or contacts. Your team recognises the system immediately because it speaks their language.
Constraints that prevent bad data
Referential integrity, unique SKU enforcement, mandatory mandate references, and site-scoped relationships are enforced at the schema level. No orphaned members, no phantom charges, no duplicate records. The database refuses bad data before it exists.
Power BI-ready from day one
Club, Region, Package, and Period dimensions are first-class entities in the schema. Power BI connects directly without a transformation layer, data warehouse, or 3-month BI project. Finance teams get usable dashboards in days.
Multi-site by design
Every entity is site-aware from the ground up. Cross-site and per-site reporting work without manual filtering. Add a new location and the data model accommodates it structurally, not through workarounds.
Not a blank canvas
A decade of real client projects has shaped the schema. The relationships between packages, pricing bands, billing cycles, and member lifecycles are proven, not theoretical. You inherit that experience on day one.
Best-practice rules that eliminate workarounds
Business rules are not documented in a wiki and hoped for. They are encoded into the platform as guarded transitions, API-layer validation, and configurable policies. The system enforces them, every time, on every channel.
Lifecycle state machine
The membership lifecycle (join, active, freeze, unfreeze, cancel, rejoin) is a proper state machine with guarded transitions. You cannot cancel a frozen membership or freeze an already-frozen one. The system enforces the correct sequence, not a status dropdown anyone can edit.
API-enforced business rules
Booking policies, cancellation windows, discount limits, and billing cycles are enforced at the API layer. Every channel (web, app, kiosk, third-party integration) gets the same validation. No channel can bypass the rules, no matter how it connects.
No more Excel workarounds
The processes that used to live in spreadsheets, email chains, and manual reconciliation are inside the system. Billing runs, member transitions, refund approvals, and payment tracking are auditable, consistent, and visible to everyone who needs them.
Configurable, not custom
The rules engine lets operators change cancellation windows, booking lead times, and discount policies without code. But the guard rails are architectural: you can adjust a window from 24 to 48 hours, but you cannot create a payment without a mandate.
Domain knowledge built in
Bank holiday awareness, Direct Debit notice periods, pro-rata calculations, and mandate lifecycle rules come from years of real-world operation. You do not need to specify these requirements: they are already there.
A data model designed for answers
Because the schema is domain-modelled and constrained, reporting works out of the box. Power BI dashboards connect directly, finance teams get usable views in days, and the audit trail answers questions other systems cannot.
Direct Power BI connection
The schema maps directly to dashboards without a data warehouse, ETL pipeline, or transformation layer. Connect Power BI to the database and the relationships, dimensions, and hierarchies are already there.
Pre-built dimensions
Club, Region, Package, Period, and Member Type are first-class dimensions in the data model. Slice revenue by site, compare package performance across regions, or track membership growth by period without building a reporting model from scratch.
Audit trail as a feature
Every event is recorded with actor, timestamp, and field-level diffs. Answer "who changed what, when" without log-diving. Built for regulated operators who need evidence for compliance, not promises.
Native billing analytics
Month-over-month comparisons, batch drill-downs, and multi-club filtering are built into the platform. See who joined, who left, what changed, and what revenue looks like, without exporting to a spreadsheet.
One source of truth
Because the modules share a common data layer, reporting spans them in a single view. No reconciliation between disconnected systems, no conflicting numbers.
Built for organisations that have outgrown their current system
Completely customisable
Your platform adapts to your workflows, not the other way around. Extend it, brand it, integrate it with your existing systems. It is yours to shape.
No per-user or per-site fees
Perpetual source code licence. Your cost does not grow with your member count or site estate. As you scale from 5 locations to 50, the platform cost stays flat.
AI-first, not AI-bolted-on
AI-powered onboarding extracts your business rules from contracts and T&Cs. A configurable rules engine lets operators change policies without code. Enterprise AI integration via MCP connects your tools directly.
You control the risk
You own the source code. Self-support with your own team, or use Talk Think Do. No single-vendor dependency for your business-critical systems. No lock-in, ever.
Data migration expertise
We migrate member data, billing history, booking configurations, and operational data from legacy systems. The biggest barrier to switching, removed.
Modern Azure stack
.NET, AKS, Azure SQL, Redis, Azure OpenAI. ISO 27001 certified, Cyber Essentials Plus accredited. Built on current technology, not a platform from another era.
Built for operators of every kind
The platform is designed to be flexible across verticals. If your organisation has members who book and pay, or learners who enrol and progress, it fits.
Gym and health club chains
Multi-site class booking, membership tiers, and Direct Debit billing across an estate of any size.
Dance school networks
Term-based and rolling memberships, class scheduling, credit packs, and recital or showcase bookings.
Art studio chains

Frequently asked questions
How does the commercial model work?
You pay a one-off licence fee and a project fee to configure, brand, and deploy the platform, plus an optional ongoing support retainer. There are no per-user, per-member, or per-site licence fees, and the licence cost does not grow as you add members or locations. We tailor a detailed proposal to your requirements during consultation. See our accelerator pricing and licensing page for how it works.
Can you migrate our data from our current system?
Yes. We have deep experience migrating member data, billing history, booking configurations, payment mandates, and operational data from legacy platforms. We handle the extraction, transformation, validation, and import. Migration timelines depend on data volume and complexity, but we plan for minimal disruption and parallel running where needed.
How long does implementation take?
A typical deployment takes weeks, not months. AI-augmented engineering and our pre-built accelerator foundations mean we are not starting from scratch. Configuration, branding, data migration, and go-live are planned as a structured programme with clear milestones.
Can I replace just one part of my current system?
Yes. The modules are composable. You can start with a single module and add others later, or deploy any combination from day one. Each module has its own API surface and can integrate with your existing systems via REST APIs.
What happens if we want to make changes ourselves?
You own the source code under a perpetual licence. You can extend, modify, or maintain the platform with your own engineering team at any point. The codebase is built with Clean Architecture and well-documented APIs, so onboarding your own developers is straightforward.
What if we want to leave Talk Think Do?
You take the code with you. The perpetual licence means you retain full rights to the source code and all project-specific work. There is no lock-in, no exit fee, and no dependency on Talk Think Do for the platform to continue running.
What types of organisations use this?
Any organisation whose operation maps onto the modules. Membership-based organisations with bookings and recurring billing include gym and health club chains, dance school networks, art studio chains, leisure trusts, sports clubs, and professional membership bodies; the assessment and learning modules serve education publishers and training providers. The platform is designed to be flexible across verticals, not locked to a single industry.
Is the platform suitable for regulated organisations?
Yes. Full audit trails, ISO 27001 certification, Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation, and single-transaction consistency make the platform suitable for council-owned leisure trusts, education providers, and other regulated operators. Audit evidence is built in from day one.
