Microsoft Solutions Partner.
Azure underpins everything we build. From AKS and Azure Functions for compute to AI Foundry for generative AI, Cosmos DB and Azure SQL for data, and APIM and Front Door for API management and delivery, we use the Azure platform deeply across every client engagement.
We are a specialist application development partner, not a generalist systems integrator. We focus on engineering the right solution on Azure and typically work alongside other partners who handle licensing, infrastructure provisioning, or broader IT support.

Specialist engineering on a platform we know deeply.
We are not a Microsoft generalist. We do not sell licences, manage tenants, or provision infrastructure as a service. What we do is build and engineer applications on Azure, and we do it at a level of depth that comes from years of production experience across a wide range of client contexts.
Azure is the foundation of virtually every solution we deliver. The specific services vary by project, but most of our applications combine AKS or Azure Functions for compute, Cosmos DB or Azure SQL for operational data, and Azure AI Foundry, AI Search, Redis, Storage, APIM, and Front Door depending on the workload. Every architecture is designed to best practice but deliberately tailored: the right services for the organisation's scale, team capability, compliance requirements, and cost envelope, not a standard template applied regardless of context.
We work at both ends of the Azure maturity spectrum. On one side, large organisations with national-scale infrastructure, complex governance requirements, Azure Policy, Management Groups, landing zones, and multi-subscription architectures. On the other, organisations taking their first step into cloud, often with a small or non-existent IT function, where we provide both the architecture and the operational guidance to build on Azure confidently from day one.
Because we focus on application engineering rather than the full Microsoft stack, we typically work alongside other partners. One might handle enterprise licensing and tenant administration; another might provide broader infrastructure support. We are the team responsible for the application layer, the one that understands the code, the data, and the system behaviour.

The services we use and why.
Every service below is something we use in production for clients. This is not a list of things we could theoretically work with.
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Our primary compute platform for production applications. AKS gives us fine-grained control over scaling, resource allocation, and deployment strategy, and is the right choice for applications that need to handle variable load reliably and predictably.
Azure Functions
Serverless compute for event-driven workloads: API backends, integration pipelines, scheduled jobs, and anything where traffic is variable or unpredictable. Functions eliminate idle compute costs and scale automatically without infrastructure management.
Azure AI Foundry
Our platform for deploying and orchestrating AI models, including Azure OpenAI. We use AI Foundry to build RAG architectures, custom Copilot extensions, and AI-powered features that connect language models to real organisational data safely and reliably.
Cosmos DB
Globally distributed, multi-model database for high-scale operational data where low latency and high throughput are non-negotiable. We use Cosmos for workloads where relational constraints would create bottlenecks and where schema flexibility matters.
Azure SQL
Fully managed relational database for structured operational data. The default choice when relational integrity, complex queries, and familiar tooling matter. We use Azure SQL across a wide range of applications, often alongside Cosmos DB for different data access patterns in the same system.
Azure AI Search
Vector and full-text search for applications that need to find and surface information intelligently. We use AI Search as the retrieval layer in RAG architectures and as a standalone search capability for content-rich applications like assessment platforms and document management systems.
Azure Cache for Redis
In-memory caching for high-throughput applications where database round-trips would create latency. We use Redis for session management, rate limiting, real-time leaderboards, and caching frequently accessed data in applications where every millisecond counts.
Azure Storage
Blob, file, queue, and table storage underpins virtually every application we build. From storing assessment media and user-uploaded content to queuing asynchronous jobs and archiving audit logs, Azure Storage is the durable, cost-effective foundation everything else depends on.
Azure API Management (APIM)
API gateway for securing, throttling, versioning, and documenting the APIs our applications expose. APIM is the right layer to enforce authentication, rate limiting, and access policies across multiple backend services without duplicating that logic in every service.
Azure Front Door
Global CDN, WAF, and load balancer in one. Front Door sits in front of our highest-traffic applications to reduce latency for geographically distributed users, enforce security policies at the edge, and provide intelligent routing and failover.
From national infrastructure to first steps in cloud.
National-scale Azure
For organisations running critical national services on Azure, governance is as important as engineering. We work with Azure Policy, Management Groups, and landing zone architectures to ensure that applications are deployed into environments that meet security classification, compliance, and operational control requirements.
- Azure landing zones and Management Groups
- Azure Policy and compliance automation
- Multi-subscription architectures
- Private endpoints and network segmentation
- Government security classification alignment
- G-Cloud procurement and delivery
First steps into cloud
For organisations moving to Azure for the first time, often without a dedicated IT function, the architecture decisions made early set the trajectory for years. We design right-sized Azure environments that are simple enough for small teams to operate, built on patterns that scale without needing to be rearchitected when the organisation grows.
- Right-sized architecture for small teams
- Clear operational runbooks and documentation
- Cost-optimised service selection
- Managed identity and security defaults
- CI/CD from day one with GitHub Actions
- Guidance on in-house capability development
